Thanks for the positive feedback guys - trying to post a few vids as I learn the luthier process, but its pretty hard to find time - they take a while to produce.

How to make cam-clamps the laminated way

Interested to see what you guys think of this method of making cam clamps. I find it a bit quicker than the traditional method. Plans are downloadable from the video below:

Hi,

This is the way I do my headstock inlays - I used a laser cutter for this one but it can be done in a similar way using scroll/fret saws or even drilling a hole for inserting circular badge or button.
