oh ok, thats a bit of relief that it has been done before.

we have block planes at school, and i guess im going to have to improvise the rest coz i cant really afford to buy the specialty tools. how did the guitar turn out?

hey guys,

i had a look at those tutorials posted and they are fantastic, thankyou!

in regards to tools, i remembered that my pop was once a carpenter, and his workshop is still in existence so im on my way down there in a few weeks to scrounge around... what luck!

thanks for the advice everyone.. i might try and get some of the school tools sharpened and stuff and get them to put them aside for me. how much would u estimate all of the hand tools would cost me to buy myself? just that budget is a pretty big issue as my parents will be funding me...

how much would u reckon it'd cost to be equipped enough for the job? it sounds pretty character of my woodwork room, i think the main problem is going to be that if i use a tool, finish working, i can never expect it to be the same when i get back to it which is a real pain.
