Man that is incredible!! :cl
Thanks asgilbert, wasn't sure the link was going to work.
It's a stunning color that I've used on a few helmets for people.
On a guitar it'll be a one off and hard to part with.

Re: The Section 8 builds

The airbrushed panel is all cleared now, actually did it awhile ago.

If I've done this right the link should take you to the short video showing the snake changing color.

Will be using this color on an electric build soon.

Re: The Section 8 builds

Hi Trent, Interesting.... I'm hearing that a lot with this acoustic. :D Undecided on the official model name for the Redback acoustic, Originally the name was in latin which I could never remember, My wife named it. But I think JLP is more fitting - Jagged Little Pill. RedbackSide.jpg Love the red s...

Re: The Section 8 builds

Thank you Alan, That Houndstooth guitar is a once only top, I'm planning something a little easier for the next one. This model is where I let loose with some ideas. Its actually come back to my workshop for a little while, just to be photographed. I didn't realize how much I miss it. The ECT450 mod...

Re: Double cutaway acoustic

Congratulations, That is one nice looking instrument. Must have had hell's own trouble keeping the back strip colour from permeating into the back? Were you trying to make it hard for yourself with two different cutaways? Be great to hear it being played. Hi Asgilbert, The back strip is bordered by...

That's come out pretty smart. Funnily enough it doesn't look as weird as one might expect! It also seemed to go pretty quick. Section 8...? Made myself one of those circle cutting jigs, IMG_20191110_171043_060.jpg Cuts a really nice rosette trench and soundhole.
