If I had $850 laying around and room in the shop I'd get a large edge sander and go with the Fox setup. But don't so I had to go this route.

Credit goes to Tony Karol, I just modified his jig. It's also good for end graphs which is what he used it for originally.

You can also use a pup cover as a template and thickness sand them to size on a OS Spindle Sander with a fence.

Does anyone else find this interesting or is it just me? It's Thomas Jefferson's polygraph used to copy his letters.

Thanks, I think this idea managed to work out pretty nicely in the end. I was thinking about it for quite awhile and then did it pretty much on the fly like alot of my jigs. That's pretty much my MO on these things. Think alot about it and sometimes make some ruff quick drawings in a graph paper tab...

You can get metal bandsaw blades but they usually run at a slower speed then wood. If you have a slow speed on you bandsaw use it and the metal cutting blade. You can have Lenox size it to your machine. I don't know if I would want to use a $100 carbide toothed bandsaw blade for cutting aluminum. A ...
