Got to stop asking how it happens.

Yes, how does one just simply drop it and create a break that extends down into the sides, me thinks that looks like a rock star stage act where you smash the body into the ground whilst holding onto the neck.

Re: Duplicator arrives next week

:D I decided to get the duplicator, becuase it just saves time, whilst we have a laser scanner that can scan any item into a 3d image and we also have the technology to reverse engineer that image out to the cnc router, it takes way too long Nothing like slapping an old removed bridge and then dump ...

Duplicator arrives next week

Re: Buffing

Agreed, the basic buff attached to a drill press or electric drill will do the job for you. I have 2 buffing wheels attached to a bench grinder for small generic stuff, and fret polishing and so forth, But if Im buffing a whole guitar I use the big dedicated makita hand buffer, beautiful piece of eq...

Re: Electric body timbers

In theory, the body of a guitar "electric" will dampen the ability of a solid fitted bridge to resonate, and thereby alter the tone of the instrument. But the question is, is the difference acoustically measurable between different mediums like plywood / maple / mahogany / craftwood, or are they bey...
