This is a good point Shellac has to be one of the most versatile finishes out there most wont use it .

I have used and heard of many that use turtle wax car polish on a Nitro neck with good results .

Maton early used a 14 deg head stock angle now its a lot less they changed a lot of things over the years

Small pockets i have to watch where I allocate money You can get a cone shaped belt to track worst case a piece of rd on the underside skewed in the rite direction.Bearing wholesalers should have these flanged bronze bushes mine has an 8 mm shaft .

I have made a heap of jigs over the years his prices are not too bad materials aint cheap anymore design albeit a copy of a copy of a jig from way back if it does the job great once money saved ,if you need a weird jig just ask cheers John.

Makore for me sanded it once gets into the air way and expands no oxygen to the blood .New a guy that thought black wood was safe died of cancer he used it a lot ,Mark is rite be aware air born particulate is certainly dangerous .

I think the nylagut are pretty good almost the same as Dupont harp strings and they all stretch a few days for the harp to come up to pitch .You have the knot end tightening add the normal stretch I guess ,as Mr Kiwigeo mentioned the wound strings a lot less because they are wound floss .Those Aquil...

I have worked on most pumps ,I know a gasket cutter that uses quite a large one he pulls the gasket material down onto a foam bed .For me I was originally going to(still want to ) Vac bag fiberglass so my set up even for cnc is fine have used the small vac bed i routed for quick stuff ,the Vac pump ...

I use a catch pot similar to this acts as a secondary storage and all the foreign particles end up here not in the pump

There are a Million suggestions on the Internet of every thing ,My wood carvers are final polished ,pushing through oak,ebony to pine they say a blunt knife cuts you more because you have to push harder .I just do what makes them work mirror is good .

It's a nice package for sure ,yes the bridge reminds me somewhat of the Japanese building style that uke is nuts .The guitar fits together as a package it's hard to design elements that come together ,I have many a scrap paper scribbling.

Allen I use a Liberon product Black Bison (clear ) old tin I have had for years still a nice finish silicon free mostly used on small stuff and a nice Tenna you have there
