I stumbled accross it in the Alice Springs Library.
Check your local, even if they don't have it you should be able to order it in.

Re: Aussies might as well give up after the first game...
Guess I'm in the 0.000001% that do give a shit
Anyway, anything's better than that crappy aerial ping pong game that awards dropped catches, penalises you for bumping into the opposition & gives you a point for "trying hard" when you miss a shot at goal....
And as for soccer....yaaaaawn.

Yes Martin, us aussies may as well give up on that particular cup.....and we probably would if the 99.999999% of us who couldn't give a shit about it suddenly decided it was a worthwhile game.

Re: Gore medium SS clone #2-4
So did you pre-load a piece of rectangular cf weave with epoxy, clamp it in the dish until set, then cut it to shape?
Some nice tips there too Dom, thanks mate.

Re: Workshop tour - lets see yours!
I do like a small workshop. Maybe that's because I've never had a large workshop. But I like the cosyness of my hide-out. Everything is a short reach away & the space is nicely manageable. There's no thickness sander, no table saw and only a small bandsaw. That has been a choice both financial...

Re: Gluing side purfling to binding?
To put it simply - Yep.I'm assuming it is best to glue them together prior to bending, then scrape/sand flat, then bend?
There's been a number of threads discussing which glues to use.
Search them out...but in summary it's whatever works best for you.

I recently described to some of the guys here, how a HNT Gordon Plane & a piece of Desert Oak worked so sweetly together it was like they were having sex!
Does that make me a pervert??

"why are we stepping over this extension lead all the time, why not run it over the door and down the other side" Now Taff, I'm afraid I'm going to have to cite your wife for incorrect procedure relating to a Workplace Health & Safety issue. She should have submitted an SOS (Safety Observation - Si...

Re: Scraper
I've just been sharpening it on the small diamond stone (stewmac sourced) and not worrying about the hollow grind. I figure the hollow is just there to make it easier to sharpen, in the same way as the thick HNT Gordon Plane blades (which I don't hollow grind either - because I don't have a bench gr...

Re: Intalling K&K piezo pads
Never done the K & K, but I've used these soundhole clamps to locate small patches to repair cracks. Where ever the top of the brace is, the bottom of the brace will be inside the instrument. Should work with the pickups as well. http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Tools/Clamps,_support_tools/Soundhole_Clam...

Damn Right!
Pool Room Status achieved the moment it cleaned up a scratch on an installed spruce top, holding the body in one hand & pulling the scraper across the top with the other hand.

Re: Scraper
I've been using one for a while now and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT.
When it first arrived I was a bit underwhelmed by the look of it.
That all changed when I put it to the timber.
It's in with the other revered tools now.

Interesting piece of hardware.
Kind of looks like a metal lathe but I can't really make heads or tails out of it.
Does it brew up the vodka too?

But then it is from a fine pedigree!
