" I'll try it at work tomorrow on the machines we use to run the economy. Keep your fingers crossed, for all our sakes."
Is that appropriate? No wonder the expected budgetary deficit is now in doubt!

Re: Introductions - a polite request

Hi, I was born in Perth WA, a long time ago and moved to Canberra in '59 and have been here ever since. Worked as a public servant for too long then took a package and for a "sea change" worked in several joinery shops. Currently working part time at the "House on the Hill" but have tendered my resi...

Checkout Graham McDonald's "The Bouzouki Book".
A workshop guide to building Irish bouzoukis and citterns.
It contains plans.

Re: Wet, damp Weather

Huon1.jpg Huon2.jpg Bob I have this piece of Huon birds eye. It is 270 mm long x 80-60 mm wide x 25 mm thick. Rough sawn, very cranky grain, definitely not quarter sawn. I bought it in Strahan about 25 years ago and was "gunna" do something with it. It has sat in the top of my wardrobe ever since s...

Officeworks list these pencils in their online catlogue as a special order, $12.48 for a box of 12.
Eckersley's art and craft http://www.eckersleys.com.au sell them in a two pack plus sharpener, wow! for $5.95.

Re: Pattern following bits and router tables

Hi Trev

Is the bearing on the shaft below the cutters
fixed to the shaft (press fit) or does it slide onto
the shaft and held in place by the chuck/collet and
the cutters? The image on the Carbatec site only
shows one bearing on the top end of the bit.
