Re: Resonant Frequency = 0

Even operational Richard the front drum wouldn't stop too much in a hurry, but i guess in truth a lot didn't travel in a great hurry. Love it all the same though, polish the alloy some, paint the barrel black, bit o work on the guards and rims, leave the orange and white as is ,,,,guess ya see where...

Should have added 'be happy to pick up a sample and send it to you Perry'. My travels take me all over Sydney and Central and Central Coast.

Re: flat wire frets

Reckon you're on the money Jeff. We had/have a local repairman whose installation of frets involved the heaviest of dressings i've ever seen and the poor misguided soul felt it improved intonation so go figure.

Love Florentines on archies and Venetians on flat top goose sticks, just personal preferences. But stunning work as ever Rod well done :cl

Re: flat wire frets

Have an old fretless ES like Rod mentioned above or should say had, that is until Trevs' partner in crime "GG" refretted it in about 84 in a cellar at Seaforth. Definitely not recommended at all so stay far, far away from them as possible cos intonation sucks and they always feel worn out IMHO.

Re: Help ! sander oscillator trouble

Pete, may i ask what sort of mechanism is the tracking adjustment? Simple clockwise tighten anti clockwise loosen bolt as the platten oscillates and what approximate length/range of movement is available for the tracking on this machine?

Have used this product before and the only thing i would add to Allens information is what ever time you use to mix the base and hardener, then double your mixing time. I have found that for some reason they look like are blended but seem to have not combined as intended.
