Keeping with the theme Mr Rocket here is my take on the F style Mando going back 10 years ,( how time flies ) thought I would have some fun with the head stock and tail piece who knows where it is now fire wood I guess . :lol:

Oops sorry Mr Rocket ,About Mando's stick with the scale length most common I had trouble tuning my modded one :lol: Check out Sierra Hull.

I just realized I have 8 on an old instrument I forgot about in the let's call it the (forgotten shed) :) these will be the rite size if in a hundred years I need to replace them I can spin them up on the lath all good then . :D

How many ferrules do you need I think they are much the same looking at an old set I have on an Instrument then some cheapy friction pegs i have look the same I have 3 :) 11 mm OD and 8 on the press fit with a ID of 5mm and the mando has 6 mm I could drill em .

Phases of the Moon ,the weather :? I remember reading a book on making out folding knives ,he said a coffe first thing in the morning while the brains ticking the rite way mark out then as I do check a dozen times then go what the hell did I just do :)

Almost every day for me :lol: then there's this broken uke neck that went flying out the shed and hit the gate made two more near perfect (to my eyes ) I have the thing that starts kind of bad then I of course keep going and guess what it gets worse :lol: :lol: .learn a lot about fixing stuff still ...

The Bodyshop paint supplies :) not to be mistaken for the soap supplies :lol: Bayswater,Dandy ,Thomastown and Seaford .I used Debeer paint mind you it was for a bike but their web site has good info ,there was some elastic in it 4 years and not a crack very thin fiberglass .I would do a lot of resea...

I believe they also ran yellow under gold ,Candy I read somewhere was a Silver ground and then the tinted clear coat .The Body shop here in Bayswater carry some nice German brand paints I'v used ,they do have the candy style stuff give em a ring you never know. :)

Cool start, I cut my first back and sides with a panel saw :o You mention the cost of books I have a bunch all over the years they would add up to Trevor Gore book I guess ,now thinking about it it would be a smart purchase ,look at it like programs for the PC they cost heaps some 7k all the develop...

You guys and yer Bike themes ,one of my favorites for 7 plus years now along with other obsessions :lol: Oh and this telle thing I had hanging around for far to long as a body so I stuck a neck on to see how she runs .One is Italian the other has some Chinese parts all good fun :D .
