Re: OM Cutaway

Hi Greg,

Thanks, No it's ABS I hate ebony as a Binding, it's hard to bend, get in the top wood when you sand and is just generally unpleasant to use, so ABS gives the same look , but without the headaches.

A Tobacco Burst would hide that OK and still look nice, you can practice on a sheet of ply cut into the shape of a guitar until your confident.

Re: Jet/Performax 10 - 20 drum sander again

Hi All,

Ken kindly did a kit for me about 2 years ago, it's huge improvement on what it was before it even broke, much smoother.

a tip top solution to a problem nearly all 10-20 owners will face sooner or later.

Thanks Ken!.

Who thinks up the names for some of these products? We Make a Compost Probe, it was developed for Australian Native Landscapes. They called it the ANL Probe , it's two meters long 40 mm round , pointy with a handle on the end. And due to where they stick it , it often smells a bit like poo ! Cheers,

Re: Left Overs Guitar

Hi Stu,

A gloss finish is just a lot more work all round, not just the Buffing. it's all got to be spot on , gloss shows every little bump, spot and imperfection.

Matt is a lot more forgiving, That's why CC are all Matt I suspect  .
