Oh and there is another bluing method which I would steer clear of but apparently you can get a beautiful peacock blue by immersing the steel in molten potassium nitrate (or something like that, it maybe another chemical though) where you bring the temperature up to around those same tempering temp...

I have just finished my latest build but it doesnt play all that well,and I'm not sure what I did wrong, Any idea's ? Try shifting the string spacing a little closer or dropping two strings altogether, buy a sombrero & turn it into one of those big arse mexican basses. You'd make a fortune at outdo...

Hey, wanna buy a bloke plane?
