Despite Freida's obvious lack of symmetry upon her chest, her dance card remained brimming with hopeful village lads with their blood fully charged with hormones, and their eyes firmly glued to her voluptuous hips.
Nice work Markus

Re: Guess a spectrogram
No mistaking that Markus.
Its quite clearly the spectrographic output of a petite blonde called Freida wearing a bikini while sitting cross legged in a purple bubble chair that has a slow but audible leak while slurping No13 linguini with lashings of red pesto sauce, from a splade.
Cheers

Re: Ebony Bindings
Before you settle on ebony, or veneer, or whatever wood product over ABS plastic, just take little bit of each and coat with a dab of finish, and then see if you can tell them apart without resorting to a magnifying glass. I've used both, even on the same guitar, and black under a finish all looks t...

Re: Ebony Bindings
Hi Guys, Does anybody know of a source of ebony bindings in Australia? I have just received an order of other stuff from LMI but they were out of stock. Don't relish the idea of paying US postage again just for some binding. Cheers. Hey Jeremy, In this situation I would advise using black abs plast...

Re: Bandsaw problems
The laguna IMO doesn't need a drift master, it tracks perfect every time, I cut veneers under a mm thick every day on it, and it's super consistent. Not being a smart arse but I believe drift issues are the result of variations in the set and/or sharpness of the band. This is why most commercial ba...

Thanks for the review Martin. Re: Wood drying ovens
Resaw your wood into back and side sets while it's still 'wet'. Then sticker it out in a press with 19mm sticks running an oscillating fan on low over the stacks. At first you need to unpack the stacks to move and rotate the stickers every couple of days to prevent mold growing between them and the ...

Re: Wipe-on finish for acoustic guitar
Great buy!!! That will be enough to finnish a fist full of instruments. Just remember to buy a bag of marbles to go with your 1 ltr so you can drop one in the bottle now and then to bring the fluid level back up into the neck to expel excess air. If you don't then next time you go to use it you will...

Re: Cant edit my posts, topics and replies
Yeah the problem we had was with people spitting the dummy for whatever and then going through and deleting all their posts from the past which I'm sure you can appreciate, can then destroy the continuity of discussion for entire threads. IIRC, Bob set the editing window for members to about 5 min, ...

Still not sure what I'll do with the tops I bought from Mario that are mismatched (non-consecutive slices), too thin, or are too thin to sand away the felt-tip marker scribbles Mario put on the wood. Or the lower quality, too thin replacement set that he sent when I complained about a non-usable se...

Re: Wipe-on finish for acoustic guitar
Its more a rubbing varnish Richard. Because of the name, some people freak out and assume it will penetrate into the wood...that's not my experiance, even with spruce. TruOil polymerizes quickly upon application resulting in it hardening 'on' the surface of wood rather than 'in'. This is why it can ...

Re: Wipe-on finish for acoustic guitar
Hey Richard, try contacting a few of your local gun/rifle clubs to see if they stock TruOil. It's popular as a finish on high end rifle stocks and also guitars.
