Have Knovo guitar and uke (tenor size), both work fine, both have Temp control but I also always use a seperate thermocouple (temp gauge) that you will find in a lot of multi meters (JayCar)

its red gum burl, from Maleny I put it in upside down could not see the joins on the other side but got excited and put it in the wrong way. Once in couldnt get it out.

this works very well and if you have a hollow in middle the sandpaper on a level works really well to flatten out the edge till flat

Flat sawn timber for SS Acoustic neck?
Hello All, I was after thoughts on flat sawn timber for SS acoustic necks. I have received some nicely figured blackwood in a size that suits being made into a couple of necks, however it is flatsawn. Is this ok if you use carbon reinforcing rods in the neck? thanks for the pictures, does the aluminium bar closest to the adjusting knob (with fancy inlay) have a threaded hole, or is the adjustment achieved in another fashion
