Re: No.18 - Cedar top 000 - True oil finish
Fantastic looking guitar, love to see a close up of that rosette as well. I now know some wood I purchased as Figi Mahogany was actually NG Rosewood I actually took back to where I bought it and he was insisted it was mahogany, I didn't mind as I am building #1 with it and it's looking great.

Re: Commission build and lining questions.....
i know I have little experience with linings however my first build uses laminated linings (4x1.1-2) making the lining around 4.5mm -4.8mm, It was achieved by making a two part mold clamping the lining between the result is a perfect fit and all exactly the same, if interested I could post some pics...

Re: Some of my Tornavoz guitars and other things
Fantastic looking instruments, I was talking to the wife onle a couple of weeks ago about putting something in the sound hole like a tube, now I know what it's called a tornavoz! Could you elaborate and let us know what they do, for example do they increase volume or alter tone etc. I am very intere...

Re: What timber is this? Good for Electrics?
I thought the same about electrics untill recently, I have now been educated, electrics change with varying types of timber but most difference was with the design of chambers within the body, in the next month or so I plan to build one, as I will be flying blind I will post picks etc for all to pul...

Wher can I buy the book
Silly question, where can I but a copy of the book and how much are they?
If someone older than me can get the gist of it there could be some hope for me, they say learning something new prevents alzimers, maybe this book could help me!

Re: A major disaster
I really like the cats paw, I ask about the internal soundboard because when I was younger much younger I vaguely remember something similar but used in a percussion instrument, I think it was to do with volume, I could be totally wrong of course, if only the memory worked!

Re: A major disaster
I have never heard of a guitar with a internal soundboard! What does it achieve, volume, tone, I would really like to know more. The combination of bracing etc etc etc it's obvious you have spent a lot of time on this one and I'm sure it's going to be fantastic when your finished and the repair will...
