Your kind thoughts are much appreciated Mark but I dont plan on expiring in the near future. Funnily enough when I mentioned Sally's ebay auction my wife asked me what the hell shed do if I carked it and she had to hock off my workshop.

Allen...Im reading a carbon copy of the experience I had a few months back when I ordered some bandsaw blades and an HNT Gordon plane from Carbatec in Adelaide. Admittedly they did come to the party and didnt charge me for all the bandie blades but the moral of the story is always ring them up to ch...

My tap tuning skills are rudimentary...at the moment I just aim for a resonant sustaining response to a tap around the bridge area.

A. Pyjamas and a pipe.

All taken on board Kim but the collection of GAL and woodie mags, the Big Red Books and alot of the other stuff sound like a serious amateur luthier's stash. The books appear to have been carefully chosen...Ive got every one of them in my library.

Hey Seb, is there any arch in the lower bout area? On my classicals I make my fan braces about half the height of yours and they have a triangular cross section. Heres a pic of the braced up Englemann top of my latest build. Its Graham Hein's Englemann so its quite stiff. I thinned to 0.095" around ...

Actually looking at the bits again the back and top dont seem to be from same kit....back seems to have a cutaway while top d...

Matthew its a guitar kit. It seems to be missing a few bits.....linings, end and tail blocks, truss rod, bracing etc. Would still be a good buy for someone wanting an easy first build.
