I think they just grab a handful of parts and toss them in a bag. I had a bunch of stuff left over after finishing assembly. Works fine though, and definitely worth the money.

If I built a guitar with say, a 15' radius back, would the angle that the back meets the sides be the same all the way around.

* I know that technically it's a straight line meeting a curve so there is no angle as such but lets just talk about a tangent across the first 5mm or so of the back.

I'd be using a hole saw to make the ends from 12mm ply. That way there'd be a 1/4" hole waiting for the bolt.

That's the template I use for all uke sizes. Just find two slots, 12 slots apart that match half your scale length. That'll give you your new nut slot. That goes for any size uke too.
