Nice shot. Makes me want to go back, too. I can see "Half Dome" in your photo. Back in '81 ( 19 81), I spent a whole day photographing in Yosemite. I spent two weeks out there in Carmel at an Ansel Adams workshop and came back through Yosemite. A two week block of my life that I would love to reliv...

US police say a man posing as a waiter collected US$186 (NZ$331) in cash from diners at two restaurants and walked out with the money in his pocket. Diners described the bogus waiter as a spikey-haired 20-something wearing a dark blue or black button-down shirt, yellow tie and khaki pants. Police sa...

Pretty awesome rock features there Paul, they say photo's can never do it justice so it must have been one helluva view! Time they flatten those tree's & whack some condo's up for the tourists, erect some golden arches, should be just about right. We could send some Kiwi developers over there if th...

Fast connection....ya gotta be joking mate. The IT out here is painfully slow. If I have my laptop plugged into the network it takes 15 minutes to open a Word document. I work with the network unplugged and only plug it in when I have to send an email or map to a network drive. Been trying for a wee...

Building a composite guitar would be as boring as batshit.....each piece of composite lovingly created by a machine in a sterile environment to exactly the same specs as the last one....no character...all clones. The guitar is assembled by another machine and eventually out the arse of the factory p...
