Maybe one of the gum trees on the head Rod? Would have been nice with a bit of pink abalone on the neck to go with that cherry/pinkish stain.

Very cool Rod. Colour and finish turned out great. How's it sound?

Just a spaniard in the works on the earthing saga which I have just read again is that on all my electrics I use active EMG pickups (B 81, N 89ish) and on those you never earth the bridge/strings.

So Rod, what's next?

Cheers

Thanks for the compliments there you lot, as i said this is my first electric build, and being a hollow body info and specs were as scarce as hens teeth but it seems i've done ok with this one, didn't blow myself up when i plugged it in!!! It's got flat wound 11-49s on it plenty of sustain but not as much pop as i expected with the t.v. jones humbuckers, round wounds might give it a bit more. This little baby is having it's debut on Sunday at a rockabilly gig so i may have some footage to upload some time soon.
Cheers ,,,, Rod
