Third build (finished second)

Post by TrevorMag » Sun Jan 30, 2022 6:05 am

Turns out the ABG design from my first build scales down to both OM and Parlour sizes quite nicely. Here's my third build, which I finished second so that I could get a six-string setup under my belt before attempting a twelve. (The first was a fretless, which barely counts, lol.)

Nice work Trevor. The guitar has a jazz arch top look about it.

Interesting design. What is the top wood? As Martin says a very jazz feel to it.

It's Celery top pine. There was some sort of discolouration to the grain, but I think it kinda added to the look. Would've been even better if my resawing capabilities had yielded better bookmatching :)
