Reliable Freight Service Adelaide to Brisbane - Recommendations?

Can anyone recommend a reliable freight company that can get a large amount of wood from Adelaide to Brisbane?

Hi Martin,

When my Son moved to Brisbane we used 'Pack and Send' to send all his clothes, computer and guitar etc. They were very good, even delivered to his lodgings even though he was supposed to pick up from depot.

Haven't sent any timber with them so can't comment directly to that.

I recently used Pack and Send to get about 20kg of wood from Queensland to Victoria. I think they farm it out to local couriers, so your mileage may vary, but I had a good experience with them.

Okay...I ended up using Pack n Save (Unley, Adelaide franchise) to freight 600kg of tonewood from Adelaide to Brisbane. The franchise is run by two lovely Iraquis..Rez and Azadeh. Rez dropped by with a van and picked up 38 cartons and took care of palletizing them before shipment to Brisbane. The wood arrived in good nick....I'm pretty leased with the service.
