Interesting to see some one do it. sheer lunacy though.

I think that's a pretty quick way to screw an otherwise great acoustic.

When I was watching it, I couldn't help but wondering if there is any way that you could design an acoustic instrument from scratch for this to work on, without tearing the top to pieces.

My thoughts exactly allen, it could make resolving compensation issues a lot easier, but its had to imagine gypsy jazz with a whammy bar.

I dont get why he had to rip the back out, he could have glued the bridge patch in from the soundhole,
make mine fifths........

Why not just make a deep bodied carve top jazz guitar with a bucker and a Bigsby?
