Bevy of Beauties
I'm in Tasmania at present staying at my mate Neil's place so a few of my "children" have come home for setups and tune ups. The other instruments had set ups on them as well so that's what I've been doing most of the day.
Have a look at the run out on the D-18 top. That's my instument - it still sounds fine after nearly 30 years
We were laughing about the amount of instruments in the living room so we decided to take a pic.
Top row
93 Martin D28, 80 Martin D18, MC Dread, MC 12 String
Bottom Row
Maton 12 String, Maton 6, MC 0-18, MC- OM

Thanks, Bob.bob wrote:Yes Steve - that is a King Billy top.
That one belongs to my friend Neil. The O model is just about the right size for King Billy steel strings methinks.
The KB top is slated for production this year.
You've convinced me to make a smaller box.
But an "0" size is purty tiny....
Could we press that into an OM, and the thing still hold up?
Thanks,
Steve
There are some great woods, down under!
