It's nice to know that there is a story behind your violin, it makes it even more special to you as well as nice for us to look at :D

Nah mate, just a sore toe after kicking the 'mystery' timber hidden under Trend Timbers stall at the 'Working with Wood' show a few years back.
Perfectly 1/4 sawn, 2" thick & where's my credit card :D
