Ottos in Adelaide

For any of you planning to head down to Ottos to check out their stock of tonewood...dont bother.

I popped in to Ottos today on my way back from buying a new mulcher and heres what I found on their shelves:

- 4 western red cedar top sets that were there 6 months ago when I last popped in. They look like theyve just been chucked on the shelves and half of them are warped to buggery.
- 2 Tas Blackwood neck blanks.
- A couple of violin top sets.

And thats about it. Asked at the counter when theyd next be getting in more tonewood and got a blank look from the bloke. he obviously wasnt interested in my custom and I quickly decided I wasnt interested in giving him any of my money.

If youre after tonewood then dont waste your time and money at Ottos....check out Tim Spittle and our other fine sponsors.

Cheers Martin
