What can you tell me about the late Tony Faux of Vaux Guitars in Brisbane?

I just bought a double bass neck from his wife Ruth; he'd had it in storage for 20 years.

Apparently he's in the Australian Made and Played book.

Hi Mathew,
I just realised I have this book at the moment and it appears that Tony Faux specialised in electric guitars, he tried lots of Aussie timbers but settled on brush box. He was an antique restorer and developed a fretless electric bass and a six string electric with a body of an FJ holden. Information from ' Australian made... Australian Played...' by Michael Atherton
hope this helps,
Cheers John Copley
