Congratulations Mathew. A fine looking bass! The binding is special and your craftmanship and detail is first class. I have enjoyed watching this instrument grow.

The bass sounds deeper than the previous one, and is easier to play, so I succeeded on those points. It also resembles the original bass quite well, so I give myself four stars for that too.

If you watch School Spectacular on the ABC on Sunday, keep an eye open for Olivia playing this one in the orchestra!

It really is a thing of beauty Matthew. I'll sure try to see it on the telly on Sunday.

Do you have a burning desire to start on another one yet? Or just enjoy this one for a while?
