A laugh

Post by simso » Sun Jan 17, 2016 9:00 pm

For those that might need a chuckle or need to be horrified

Over the christmas I took two weeks of from work and SWMBO, wanted a patio put up in the backyard

As I did the installation by myself, I had to use what was available for jigging some points

Whoops, wondered where I had put those ukelele bodies :D

Unfortunately not, I got all the frame work done, so all I need to do is fit the sheets and guttering.

It was so hot over Christmas here.

Trying to clear my Christmas workload to be able to get back to finishing it

Could be a great new sales point: multifunctional instruments. No tool kit should be without a couple.

I've never seen such dedication to quality assurance and stress testing!

That said, I do think Trevor's deflection test rig is a little less cumbersome for the average builder.

That must be a brick shithouse uke if it can withstand that sort of treatment.....the bracing must be at least as strong as the beams on that pergola.

Yes after having done it, I thought others might get a chuckle.
