Hello and Thanks

Post by Duct Tape » Mon Feb 27, 2017 1:43 am

Hi all, I'm new here and wanted to leave two notes of appreciation:

1. Pete McCurly - seems like a great guy, with beautiful wood and great service. Thx Curly. (No affiliation).

2. This forum - I've skimmed through nearly all 83ish pages on the builders forum, picking off what interested me, and have started another run through. What do I like? The forum format is great, easy to read without half of the page occupied by a banner or ads, and the level of expertise seems very high, at least to my relatively inexperienced eye. Plus I like the Aussie humor, when I can understand it.

Thanks,

Jon

Welcome to the forum. Aussie humour is a little tricky at first but it is mainly about p1ss take. You should try Kiwi humour :D

the thing about this forum I enjoy apart from the serious approach and quality of the information is the lack of mindless banter.

I'm really glad you loved the timber Jon , you've certainly got an eye for the good stuff !
My next project is how to get timber legally out of New Zealand where I'm currently holidaying ......
Thanks
