No more building

Post by kiwigeo » Mon Aug 28, 2017 9:32 pm

Last Sunday I finished packing up my workshop.......5 days spent moving wood and tools. In the end I managed to compress everything into one end of my 6 x 3m workshop leaving just enough space for the double bed that will be occupying the shop while it functions as a temporary bedroom during an upcoming house demolition and re-build. The garage the shop is attached to will be "home" for 18 months.

I won't be building for two years but will continue duties as one of the two forum moderators/admins.

A rest is always good.

I'm sure if you wanted too, there is somewhere local that you can use some work space at if you want to keep your hand in on the odd occasion

Just make sure to tap tune the house structure. Walls should be 4 semitones higher than the roof resonance freq!

Keep your eye on them Martin, if they run out of noggins make sure they can't see your neck blanks. I guess all that wood should insulate your bedroom well for winter.
