TIGER
Having built with Tiger Myrtle from Tim I wanted to mention that this wood works like a dream. It bends as easily as Walnut (one of the easiest woods to bend), planes like a dream, sands fast and uniform, AND sounds glassy, complex, rich, and like the best tonewood available.
In addition, Tiger binding is an excellent replacement for snakewood since it looks nearly the same but bends much easier and does not have splinters.
Great stuff Tim!

Thanks for the Welcome
I have not been in my shop or having guitar fun since this past April with my work schedule. The Heshmeister let me know you guys were engaging in some good conversations and that my friend Serge was participating along with many of my friends from the OLF. Great to be here, look forward to participation. You guys needed a Texan anyway
Again Thanks for the warm welcome!

Hey, thanks for the kind words, guys!
I'm glad that Tim is getting the exposure he so richly deserves.
His wood is truly amazing.
I thought the first set of Tiger Myrtle he sent was fantastic.
But--oh my--you should see the second set he sent!
How he comes up with this stuff is beyond me.
But I'm glad he does!
Nice place here, Kim, thanks for the invite!
Good to see Serge again, and hey Mike, how about 2 Texans?!
