How to repair section of missing black and white binding

Post by simso » Sat Mar 03, 2018 8:16 pm

I linked it into the other page as well.

Finished writing this one up, basically a walk through on how I replace a piece of missing black and white binding on a Martin

The whole lot can also be done by hand, no machines, just more scraping as shown at the end when tweaking the thickness

The paintwork finish was limited to 1cm either side of the repair, could have gone to town on the finish it was in such a tragic condition.
