pigments

Post by blackalex1952 » Tue Mar 06, 2018 1:21 pm

I have questions re mixing my own pigments. All advice welcome. I want to make up a pigment mix to match an old Gibson, pre world war one! Nitrocellulose lacquer is what I intend to use as the base. I'm wondering if anyone has used Langridge or other artists pigments for this purpose and if there is a process involved that gives the best results. Cheers, Ross

The aniline pigments match up the best IMO, but not to sure where you can get them from in Aus.
