OK Billy, I want some evidence

Post by Rod True » Fri Oct 12, 2007 12:13 pm

OK Dude, we've known you for quite some time now and well, I don't ever recall seeing a guitar which you have made.

I'm certainly happy to have you on the forums and really like your input. I just want to see a guitar, progress pics, shop pics anything of YOURS.

So come on dude, give us the goods. 8)

Doesn't matter to me whether Billy is a builder or not, it sure is fun having him around!! That said, though, I sure am curious.

I'd like to see a picture of Billy, himself. :na

Oh as for the shop, it's nothing special...

Craftsman 14" bandsaw
Cheap Chinese 12" bench mount drillpress
2 Delta belt sanders 4" and 1"
Ryobi Scrollsaw - which is kind of cool - I have ideas!
Couple of routers
Autograped picture of Hesh with lipstick mark, (To be honest, I think it's a lip print from the police when he was arrested for biting people!)

Now for the "guitar" I'm "working" on. I don't really have any desire to build a standard guitar , I showed a rough concept pic to Hesh and Sergione. Its headless, has the back reworked to more of a saddle shape to maximize volume, the waist is reworked to the same end and it has a perimeter sound hole. It going to require a lot of preliminary work and I'm still trying to scratch pennies to get to try some of the things out.

I have pretty much full access to a machine shop when I need it so that's cool.

As for why It's taken me so long to get going, I'm in kind of an unusual place health wise. I hate bringing up because I'm a lot better than I used to be but still have problems with stamina.

There, the story of my life, maybe I should write a book!

I think that Billy is a lesbian......... :lmao :fff :bum :f00

Seriously I have spoken with our beloved Billy several times now and I will personally attest that he is indeed real, cool, caring, and a damn good friend!

Please cut Billy some slack - since he lost his hair people tell him that if you put two of his heads together you would have someone's ass......... :lmao :lmao :lmao :serg

No thanks required Billy - I am always willing to support my transvestite friend. :D

I'm sure he is. He's just trapped in a man's body.

Thanks for the info, Billy. But, I still don't know what is real and what isn't. Maybe he's (she's) in the witness protection program. I wouldn't know a straight answer from you if I saw it.

Butt, :bum that's OK. I appreciate you for being able to change my outlook on a bad day.
