Polyurethane Finish

Post by PeterG » Wed Nov 21, 2018 12:34 pm

I'm looking to convert to Mirothane PU finish but 4 Litre minimum per item (sealer, top coat, hardener and thinner) with a 12 month shelf life makes it a bit uneconomical for my small output.

Would anyone in Melbourne be interested in going halves if I were to purchase and decant into 2 Litre tins? Would probably cost around $250.00 all up.

Think of ordering in say Feb.

It may say 12 months shelf life, however it will last many years if you keep it sealed properly.

I don't buy direct from Mirotone. My supplier decants into 1lt. and 2lt. containers of the common, quickly moving stock. It's more expensive to purchase that way instead of the 4lt. but I don't have to keep so much stock on hand.
