Does anyone have tips re mould in Hot Hide Glue?

I presume you mean in glue that has been made up. If it's mouldy then toss it and make fresh.

If you can't use up what you have in a resonable amount of time, then just make smaller batches. I mix up either 1 or 2 tablespoons of glue with double that in water in a small mustard jar that gets stored in the fridge after use.

If you have some left over after a glue up you can freeze it. I make it up in a small jam jar that sits in a baby bottle warmer during use. After the job is done just put the lid on and stick it in the freezer. Then straight back to the warmer when you want to reuse it. You can leave left-over glue on the bench for a couple of days but it will grow mould pretty soon!
