Thanks for this Robbie,

I love bending, I do it by hand and it is tone of the most fun bit of lutherie. Great tip about the wet rag for the tighter bends,

What gloves do you use? They look like leather garden gloves,

That looked pretty easy Robbie. Looks like you bent the bouts dry? And that was a good tip about the wet rag. I'm going to be using that one from now on.

Jeez Robbie.....for a while I thought you were going to fold that side in half!!

I love the way youve got the guys in the background spending what seems like a lot of time mucking around getting set up on their bending form while in the foreground the Maestro quickly whacks out a fully bent side on a bending iron!!.

It is not as difficult as people think.
I bent the sides dry except for that wet paper towel on the waist and that is to keep it from scorching.
