Folks, still to re-interate not taking any guitar work on until well into next year, still got a few big jobs in the que but have dedicated myself more into repairing saxophones trumpets tubas clarinets bassoons etc.

My last employee leftover a month ago now, so its just me and the missus running the business, crazy busy..

My current guitar repair area, only 3 on the bench, may take me a month or two to clear them as so far I have gnone a aeek or two without even touching them, one is the levin referenced above, the other is a maton from the 50s getting rebraced and a new back and a martin having binding repairs

And my now day to day stuff, work bench photo taken at lunchtime, end of the day these are done and next day load the work bench up again, each instrument is stripped down of all its keys, slides etc, cleaned repaired and put back together

Cool..thanks Steve. That bugle reminds me of the instrument I used to keep by my phone for when the Indian scammers rang up. The usual conversation went thus:

Scammer: Hello I am calling from Microsoft.....
Me: Stop right there, Im going to ask you a question.
Scammer: ???
Me: how is your hearing?
Scammer: ??. My hearing? It's fine.
Me: Ok I want you to listen to this and then I'll ask you the same question again.

(blows a long blast on the bugle into the phone mouthpiece)

Me: how's your hearing now??!!!!!!!

Ha ha Yep, would love to do that to a scammer, just noticed I called it a cornet as well :shock:, my excuse is long days :D
