Video tutes

Post by Steve.Toscano » Wed Sep 08, 2021 9:43 pm

Hey ANZLF'ers.
I've recently purchased myself a new fang dangle video camera and am starting to record some tutes and tips stuff to chuck up on youtube.

Is there anything you guys want me to cover?
SOmething you might be struggling with?
Something you want to look at another way of going about?

No guarantees i'll be able to cover it, but im always open to a challenge.

Examples (prior to new camera):

Hi Steve,

I would like to suggest:

How to guarantee that the bridge is square across the soundboard; and
Calculating nut to saddle distance. I find that a bit confusing (Including Ukuleles).
(It's that - adding a bit extra to the lower half that's puzzling).

Thank you - Cheers - PH

I bet those videos are going to be brilliant Steve. I’m sure we all look forward to watching them.

I had the same idea myself a while back, I got a few iPods recording work from different angles and edited them all with Final Cut Pro. It’s amazing how much work goes into them and annoying how easily things can go wrong.

Invariably one of the cameras, always the one that was best placed to capture the action, would switch off without telling me. Since guitar building is a subtractive process it was very hard to make a’ take 2’

I Hope you have better luck than I did.
