Rosewood fretboards

Post by simso » Tue Aug 22, 2023 6:43 pm

I use to build electric guitar kits for some music stores here in perth who would then carry out an assembly course with said kits.

I stopped these around 3 years ago, kind of around the time covid came to australia, really have no intention of getting back into it either, the margins for profit was so small.

Going through my shelves of stored wood, have about 200 rosewood fretboard blanks, think they are indian rosewood, well thats what they look like but I bought some of these almost 20 yrs ago, so really no guarantees.

Also got heaps of maple fretboards, maple electric neck blanks etc etc

Does anyone know what the rules are these days with selling wood on the cites list
