The Post-Ultimate Swiss Circle Cutter

A circle cutter with fine adjustment and vernier scale (0.05 mm precision).

The blade holder is replaceable, with the idea being to be able to use one blade holder for cutting blades, and another one (or two) with a scraping router bit. So far I have only made one blade holder though (I just finished the circle cutter a couple of days ago).

And here some random pictures of the building stages.

I was considering discarding that photo because of the knuckle it shows!
It looks so fresh that it must have been after I finished this tool though.
But I can't remember what it was, maybe it happened while I was fishing a bill out of the mailbox without opening it (through the slot).

Exactly Kim, how could I.

However Bruce, I might put it up for sale on the date you are proposing, but you probably would not find its price very attractive or funny, even not if I would include a card scraper.

Hi Markus, can you use two cutters? In the circle cutter I made I can fit two cutters so as to cut a channel using the intended inlay, purfling or rosette, to set the space between them. Just a thought.

Hi Taff, yes of course I can do that, why not? All I need to do is making a "head piece" with a deeper blade-receiving groove in order to accommodate two blades and a spacer between them. It will be basically the same thing as making a head piece for holding a "router bit".
