Binding Router story...

Hi,
After many years of using my old binding router setup shown here, I finally bought and set up a factory-made unit. As seen in the early photos I am prone to over-engineering some jigs.
There are a lot of photos covering putting this jig into service, so I will have to break it up somehow.
1. Old and new & Setting up the Binding router.
2. Making the installation aid, not supplied.
3. Modifying the Router base.
4. Modifying or fine-tuning the router's depth of cut and reducing the weight of the router on the guitar top.
So you know what I’m talking about… Installation tool. This was not supplied and not listed by the supplier. It is used to center the router base onto the aluminum router carrier to drill holes for mounting the router base. Getting diameter and center hole in one go… Taking it down to size… Tool fitted to router. Holes in the aluminum base from the factory, different routers… Lined up to drill new holes… All done. Does anybody need a fitting tool?
More to come, thanks for looking...
