Concert Ukulele

Hi,
A few pics of my last two builds. One Mahogany with sunburst finish, the other Spruce top and pressed Zebrano Veneer back and sides.

I love the tobacco burst on the second one. Very warm and inviting. Very tidy, professional work Luke.

Wow, these ukes look neat! I remember your back laminating method, glad to see that everything turned out perfect.

Unlike Allen I would say that the sunburst uke looks hot, not warm ;). That top really looks like flames of a camping fire. Cool! What did I say right now?

Hi all,

John the finish is durobond 851 Guitar Lacquer (Nitrocellulose), I also used their dyes (brown, red and yellow) in the lacquer for the sunburst. I buffed the finish with stew-mac buffs and the stick compound.

Thanks for all the positive comments.

Luke
