Taiao Guitar

Hi guys,

This is probably the most traditional looking guitar I've made.
The name Taiao in Maori means World, Earth, Environment, Nature and Country.
It will be heading off to Colorado at the end of the month.

Fretboard: Recycled Puriri
Bridge: Recycled Puriri
Headplates: Heart Rimu
Rosette: Three rings green/heart rimu/green
Soundport: Kauri leaf silhouette
Rounded arm rest
Mitred Body
Bracing: Hybrid Double X Bracing
Bridge pins End: Boxwood with Paua dot
Position markers: 2 & 5mm: Paua dot
Wilkinson: gold tuners

Nothin wrong with a traditional looking guitar Christian. The new owner is going to be wrapped with that one. Very nice details.

You have such a unique style and your guitars look so earthy.

It's the sort of guitar you couldn't walk past without picking it up for a strum.
