This one is a few years old, just found a loving home for it.Not much to say except , one of my very early builds, blackwood b/s, sitka top x braced, indian rosewood f/b maple neck. i think i put a youtube link of Sam Lemann playing this a while back, nice tone lots of volume, anyways the new owner is very happy and my shop has a bit more room, all good.
Cheers

Hi Rod
That is a supremely beautiful burst finish. If that was one of your early efforts it is very impressive. The shape, f-hole binding and overall detail just look great. I am not surprised that the new owner is pretty happy.
cheers
Mark

Thanks Mark, yeah that was my first attempt at a burst, it incorporated three colours, i haven't tried to replicate that finish yet on subsequent builds, don't think, don't know if i could exactly! The "F" holes are fairly unique, i've only used them on this and one other full body i built for another customer, [attached].
Cheers

Yes, these guitars look gorgeous. Those big "f"-holes are very attractive (are they really as big as they look?), especially the top of the first guitar looks like a face.

I'd be as happy as a pig in poo if that was coming my way.
I think that's my favourite one yet, beautiful.
