Display build

Post by soulman » Thu Nov 13, 2014 9:40 pm

Over the last three years I have been showing students at the school my daughter goes to, how to paint and put an electric guitar together and learn about basic setups.
The kids come in for an hour (before school), one day a week until they finish them. These are a kit build from Pitbull Guitars in Perth.
The paint process is with pressure packs ( as school doesn't have booth), or stain or natural with a Danish oil finish, or swirl paint finish.
So far we have completed approx twenty five guitars.
This guitar I have done as a display for the school and have demonstrated some different finishing techniques.
This has been done in the school colours and the Logo has been done with a laser cutter.

Thanks for all your comments.
It's a real buzz when the kids finally get to see their guitars complete.

Cheers Ross
