Hi All,

Classical with a contemporary look, radial bracing, live back ,weighted sides.

B&S are Ziricote.
Top is Engleman.
Neck is Walnut

Bindings and fretboard are both Wenge.

Sound is warm and loud.

Looks great Paul, ziricote's a beautiful looking timber. You and Martin Taylor should get a tut up to show the rest of us ( me anyway ) how to get such good finishes.

I've watched them too but still have trouble getting that real gloss finish, getting closer but still a ways to go.

Very nice indeed Paul, very pretty finish, that's one of the many parts of lutherie I struggle with these days.

What' s the story with those tuners? What brand are they?
Also, do you notice a lot of difference between the sound of this and a conventionally braced guitar. Any chance of a comparative sound clip???

I ask because I'm gravitating to making more classicals from here on, and am wondering whether I should take the plunge and try something other than Torres style bracing

Stunning - very nice indeed!

I'm a sucker for Ziricote back and sides. I didn't even notice the neck was Walnut until I went back and read the specs, it blended in naturally as if it was Mahogany, which means it certainly doesn't look out of place.

What's with the tuners??? cogs to the front one side..to the rear on the other? Not saying it looks bad but curious as to how it came about.

The Tuners are from Taisamlu, E bay store , nice tuners , great price.

The AGMS makes a lot of both, The radial bracing is easy to get right, and has consistantly produced fantastic sounding guitar, and that's with students building them, but does require a nice stiff, CF reinforced bridge in my opinion , and it needs to be well seated and bonded , I used HHG a vac clamp and Jeff highlands help for this one.

If you have Trevors Book , use his bridge design.

I can't give you a side by side comparison , Cause I don't have a Torres braced Classical to compare it with, but I'll see if someone does and see what I can do.

I did not even notice , I Hurridly put them on when I had a spare moment the other night so I could take it with me, when I was Tuning it , I thought , that's odd, No you have pointed it out I realize what i have done , I purchased 2 sets and I have grabbed 2 of the same sides.

what a goose !

Tuners with cogs to the back is about as bad as leaving the toilets with toilet paper hanging out the back of your pants.....

Congratulations on a magnificent modern looking classical. As a largely fingerstyle on nylon player, I would love to have this guitar in my collection. Like many players I have GAS.
The tuner issue is interesting visually but is it possible to correct or will the screw holes be visible?

I have changed them there is about half a hole visible , but it's filled and barely noticeable.

I'll admit it, I've done the same with classical tuners....

I actually quite like that staggered look but probably wouldn't go down well with the classical crowd!
