I delivered this guitar yesterday. going to a family band called Chasing Sunday

Beautiful! The blackbean looks amazing. How do you rate it for workability and tone?

Those woods look great together.

Epic finish! If I was any good with a spray gun I'd be tempted to buy some Mirotone.

What did you use for the neck?

Thanks Alan. It's a beautiful piece of board. the mirotone certainly comes up nice.

Thanks. I'm not certain on wood for the neck. I feel it's Meranti however it's been suggested to be Cherry.

Thanks Jim. This Blackbeen piece is amazing. I have some different boards but nothing like this piece. Nice to work with, plenty of springback when bending. This guitar is is bright really clean and articulate on all notes all up the board. really loud. To many things to affect tone for me to say its the Blackbean. However if I had some more i would certainly use it.

Thanks Trent.Yeah it's a ripper piece of wood. unfortunately i've only got enough for a couple of ukes.
