A Blackwood tenor ukulele

This is the third of six ukuleles that I made toward the end of last year.
I have a good supply of highly figured Blackwood (from a farmer in Colac) and so I thought I'd use it up in a number of instruments (ukuleles and guitars) for both bodies and necks.
This one has the following attributes:
Soundboard of of spruce - 'though I don't remember which species;
The bindings are of Mountain Ash (E. regnans). I think its lighter colour and figure goes well with the more striking Blackwood;
The headplate is Indian Rosewood;
The fingerboard is Ebony;
To me, the bridge has a vaguely Japanese look. This is something I might explore further, in future designs;
The rosette is a cheap, purchased item. (You make some; you buy some!) I bought two, and used the second in the next instrument - an 8-string ukulele. My thinking was to make one with a Blackwood body and white soundboard, and another with a white body and a Blackwood soundboard.
