Baritone Uke Photo Set

Post by Allen » Thu Mar 30, 2017 5:25 pm

This client is a real fan of Art Deco and he was happy for me to work out a design for the inlay on the back. It's my interpertation of a Rennie Mackintosh design.

The body is Imbula (Brazilian Walnut) and Western Red Cedar. Neck is New Guinea Rosewood. Bindings in quilted maple and fret board, head plate veneers and bridge are ebony. Finished in high gloss lacquer.

Outstanding Allen. The back inlay really lifts it to a new level of artistry - but avoids looking OTT.
I expect to be seeing the Barron River glossy coffee table book coming out any time now. You have quite an album full of these beauties now.
